Configure Download Clients in CouchPotato

This guide explains how to configure download clients in CouchPotato.

💡 Tip

Your service hostname and your application credentials (username and password) can be found in the Client Area under your service details.

Open CouchPotato and go to Settings → Downloaders.


rTorrent

Configure the following settings:

  • Host – https://hostname/username/RPC1, where hostname is your service hostname and username is your service username.
  • Username – your ruTorrent username.
  • Password – your ruTorrent password.

Click Test. If the connection succeeds, save the configuration.


Transmission

Configure the following settings:

  • Host – https://hostname/username/transmission/rpc:443, where hostname is your service hostname and username is your service username.
  • Username – your Transmission username.
  • Password – your Transmission password.

Click Test. If the connection succeeds, save the configuration.


Deluge

Configure the following settings:

  • Host – https://hostname:rpcport, where hostname is your service hostname and rpcport can be found in Deluge WebUI → Settings → Daemon Port.
  • Username – your Deluge username.
  • Password – your Deluge password.

Click Test. If the connection succeeds, save the configuration.


SABnzbd

Configure the following settings:

  • Host – your SABnzbd URL.
  • API Key – available under SABnzbd → Config → General → Security.

Click Test. If the connection succeeds, save the configuration.


NZBGet

Configure the following settings:

  • Host – your NZBGet URL.
  • Username – your NZBGet username.
  • Password – your NZBGet password.

Click Test. If the connection succeeds, save the configuration.


Verification

âš  Important

Verify that the hostname, URL, username, password and API Key (where applicable) are entered correctly before testing the connection.

✔ Configuration Complete

If the connection test succeeds, CouchPotato is configured correctly and ready to communicate with your download client.
