How to Find the IP Address for Your App Hosting Package

This guide explains how to find the IP address used by selected applications installed on your App Hosting package.

This option is useful if you need to provide your application IP address to a tracker or another external service.

💡 Tip

The IP address for supported applications can be checked directly from the Client Area on your App Hosting service details page.

Supported Applications

The Check IP option is available for selected applications, including:

  • Deluge
  • rTorrent / ruTorrent
  • Transmission
  • qBittorrent
âš  Important

The displayed IP address is the IP address used by the selected application. If your tracker asks you to provide or whitelist your client IP address, use the IP shown by the Check IP option.

Open Your App Hosting Service

To find the IP address:

  • Log in to the Client Area.
  • Go to your active services.
  • Open the App Hosting package where the application is installed.

After opening the service details page, you will see the main service information and the list of installed applications.

Find the Installed Application

Scroll down to the Installed Applications section.

Find the application for which you want to check the IP address, for example Deluge, rTorrent / ruTorrent, Transmission or qBittorrent.

If the application entry is collapsed, click the + button next to it to expand the details.

Use the Check IP Button

Each supported application has a dedicated Check IP action.

To check the IP address, click the Check IP icon next to the selected application.

In the Client Area, this option is displayed as a network icon. When you move your mouse over the icon, the tooltip will show Check IP.

After clicking the icon, a small window will open and display the IP address used by that application.

The video above shows how to use the Check IP option from the Installed Applications section.

When Should You Use This IP?

Use this IP address when a tracker or external service asks for the IP address of your torrent client or application.

For example, you may need this IP when:

  • A tracker requires your client IP address for account verification.
  • A private tracker asks you to whitelist your torrent client IP.
  • You need to confirm which IP is used by Deluge, rTorrent, Transmission or qBittorrent.
💡 Tip

If you are not sure which IP to provide to your tracker, use the IP displayed by the Check IP option for the exact application you are using.

Important Notes

âš  Important

Check the IP for the exact application you use. Different applications or services may use different IP addresses, so do not assume that the same IP applies to every installed app.

âš  Important

If you reinstall, move or change an application, check the IP address again before providing it to a tracker or external service.

Verification

✔ IP Address Found

If the Check IP window opens and displays an IP address, you can use that IP address for the selected application.
