Configure Download Clients in Mylar

This guide explains how to configure download clients in Mylar.

💡 Tip

Your service hostname, application URLs and application credentials (username and password) can be found in the Client Area under your service details.

Open Settings → Download Settings.


Configure rTorrent

Fill in the following fields:

  • rTorrent Host:port(optional) – your full ruTorrent URL.
  • rTorrent Authentication – Basic.
  • rTorrent RPC – plugins/httprpc/action.php.
  • rTorrent Username – your ruTorrent username.
  • rTorrent Password – your ruTorrent password.

Click Test Connection. If the connection succeeds, click Save Changes.


Configure Deluge

Fill in the following fields:

  • Deluge Host:Port – your service hostname followed by your Deluge daemon port. The daemon port can be found under Deluge → Settings → Daemon. Example: hostname.com:81111.
  • Deluge Username – your Deluge username.
  • Deluge Password – your Deluge password.

Click Test Connection. If the connection succeeds, click Save Changes.


Configure Transmission

Fill in the following fields:

  • Transmission Host – your full Transmission URL.
  • Transmission Username – your Transmission username.
  • Transmission Password – your Transmission password.

Click Test Connection. If the connection succeeds, click Save Changes.


Configure qBittorrent

Fill in the following fields:

  • qBittorrent Host:Port – your full qBittorrent URL.
  • qBittorrent Username – your qBittorrent username.
  • qBittorrent Password – your qBittorrent password.

Click Test Connection. If the connection succeeds, click Save Changes.


Configure NZBGet

Fill in the following fields:

  • NZBGet Host – your full NZBGet URL.
  • NZBGet Port – 443.
  • NZBGet Username – your NZBGet username.
  • NZBGet Password – your NZBGet password.

Click Test Connection. If the connection succeeds, click Save Changes.


Configure SABnzbd

Fill in the following fields:

  • SABnzbd Host – your full SABnzbd URL.
  • SABnzbd Username – your SABnzbd username.
  • SABnzbd Password – your SABnzbd password.
  • SABnzbd API – click Get API to retrieve it automatically. Alternatively, copy it from SABnzbd → Config → General → Security.

Click Test Sabnzbd. If the connection succeeds, click Save Changes.


Verification

âš  Important

Verify that the hostname, URL, username, password, daemon port (Deluge) and API Key (SABnzbd), where applicable, are entered correctly before testing the connection.

✔ Configuration Complete

If the connection test succeeds, Mylar has been configured correctly and is ready to communicate with your download client.
