What traffic is counted on VPS servers?
On VPS servers, only outgoing traffic is counted.
Outgoing traffic means any data sent from your VPS to the internet or to another external destination.
Examples of counted outgoing traffic include:
- downloads from your VPS by other users,
- upload traffic generated by services running on your VPS,
- data sent from your VPS to external servers,
- any other traffic leaving the VPS.
Incoming traffic is not counted.
Incoming traffic means data downloaded to your VPS or uploaded to your VPS from another location.
VPS traffic is counted from the 1st day of the month to the last day of the month. The traffic counter is reset on the 1st day of the next month.
