How to Enable VPS Traffic Usage Notifications
This guide explains how to enable traffic usage notifications for your VPS server.
Traffic notifications allow you to receive an email alert when your VPS reaches a selected traffic usage value.
Notifications are sent when the selected traffic threshold is reached. After the threshold is triggered, additional notifications are sent once every 24 hours while the traffic usage remains above the selected threshold.
Open VPS Graphs
To enable traffic notifications:
- Log in to the Client Area.
- Go to My Services.
- Open your VPS service.
- Go to the Graphs tab.
Configure Data Traffic Notifications
At the bottom of the Graphs tab, find the Data Traffic Notifications section.
Enter the traffic usage value at which you want to receive a notification.
You can set the threshold using one of the available units, such as:
- kB
- MB
- GB
- TB
After entering the threshold value and selecting the unit, save the changes.
For example, if you set the threshold to:
5 TB
you will receive a notification when your VPS traffic usage reaches 5 TB.
Traffic notifications are not sent continuously. After the selected threshold is reached, notifications are sent once per day, with at least 24 hours between each notification.
How Notifications Work
When your VPS traffic usage reaches the selected threshold, the notification is triggered.
After it is triggered, the system sends a notification email once every 24 hours while the traffic usage remains above the selected threshold.
This means you will receive at most one traffic notification per day for the selected VPS threshold.
Verification
If the threshold value is saved under the Data Traffic Notifications section, VPS traffic usage notifications are enabled.
You can monitor your current VPS traffic usage from the Graphs tab in the Client Area.
