How to configure automatic subscription payments?
You can enable automatic subscription payments for your service using PayPal or Credit/Debit Card.
Automatic subscription payments can be configured during the initial order process or when paying a renewal invoice.
If you want to enable automatic subscription payments from a renewal invoice, the invoice must still be active and not expired. If the invoice has already expired, automatic subscription setup may no longer be available for that invoice.
When can I enable automatic payments?
You can enable automatic payments in the following cases:
- During the initial order, when placing a new order.
- When paying a renewal invoice, if the invoice is still active and not expired.
After the subscription is created, future renewal payments will be charged automatically using the selected payment method.
PayPal subscription payments
If you create an automatic payment subscription with PayPal, the subscription is managed from your PayPal account.
This means that if you later cancel your service in our Client Area, you should also cancel the PayPal subscription directly in your PayPal account.
We cannot cancel a PayPal subscription on your behalf. PayPal subscriptions must be cancelled by the PayPal account owner directly from PayPal.
Credit/Debit Card automatic payments
If you enable automatic payments using a Credit Card or Debit Card, future renewal payments can be charged automatically.
If you cancel your service in the Client Area, the automatic card payment for that service is cancelled automatically as well and no further automatic card charges should be made for the cancelled service.
Card-based automatic payments are linked to the service in our billing system. When the service is cancelled, the related automatic card billing is cancelled automatically.
What happens after automatic payment is enabled?
After automatic payment is enabled, future invoices for the service will be paid automatically using the selected payment method, as long as the subscription remains active and the payment method is valid.
If the automatic payment fails, you may need to pay the invoice manually or update your payment method.
Verification
If the payment subscription is created successfully, future renewal invoices for the service will be charged automatically using the selected payment method.
